"A caza de dientes" (Out hunting for teeth) is a painting created by Francisco de Goya between 1796 and 1797. It is part of the Black Paintings series, which are a group of 14 dark and haunting works on the walls of his house in Madrid. The painting depicts a group of people, possibly peasants or hunters, who have gathered around a dead animal, presumably a boar, as they search for its teeth. The scene is eerie and seems to reflect the harsh realities of life during that time period. Goya's use of dark colors and stark lighting in this series conveyed his pessimistic views on human nature and society.
