01

Our Commitment

This statement applies to www.glasgowgfx.com, operated by GLASGOWGFX LTD. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this site, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or speech recognition software.

We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. We also have duties under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments so that disabled people are not put at a substantial disadvantage.

02

What We Have Built In

  • A skip link at the top of every page so keyboard users can jump straight past the navigation to the main content.
  • Visible focus outlines on links, buttons and form fields, so you can always see where you are when tabbing.
  • Semantic headings and landmarks, so screen reader users can navigate by structure rather than reading everything in order.
  • Accessible dialogs, menus and form controls built on Radix UI primitives, which handle focus trapping and keyboard interaction correctly.
  • Respect for the reduced motion setting in your operating system. If you have it switched on, animations and transitions across the site are suppressed.
  • Text alternatives on meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
  • A light and dark theme, both designed against the AA contrast ratio for body text.
  • A responsive layout intended to reflow on small screens and under zoom.

03

How Accessible This Site Is

We have not yet commissioned a formal, independent accessibility audit of this site. We are therefore not in a position to claim full conformance with WCAG 2.2 at level AA, and we would rather say so plainly than publish a claim we cannot evidence.

We know about the following areas and are working on them. This list will be updated as issues are fixed and as an audit identifies others.

  • The print configurator is a complex interactive tool. Its keyboard and screen reader behaviour has not been fully tested.
  • Some portfolio and case study pages use motion-heavy layouts. Reduced motion is honoured, but the underlying reading order has not been verified with a screen reader.
  • Colour contrast has been designed to AA but has not been verified across every component in both themes.
  • Reflow at 320px and zoom to 400% have not been formally tested on every page.
  • PDFs and artwork proofs we send you are produced from your own supplied files and are unlikely to be tagged for accessibility. Ask us and we will supply the content in another format.

04

Alternative Formats and Help Ordering

If any part of this site stops you completing what you came to do, we will do it with you. Call 0141 345 5841 or email support@glasgowgfx.com and we will take your order, prepare a quote, or send you information in large print, plain text or another format you can use. There is no charge for this.

05

Reporting a Problem

We want to hear about accessibility barriers, including ones not listed above. Email support@glasgowgfx.com with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

If You Are Not Happy With Our Response

The Equality Advisory and Support Service can advise you on your rights under the Equality Act 2010. You can reach them on 0808 800 0082 or through the EASS website.

Technical Information

This site is a server-rendered React application. It requires JavaScript for interactive features such as the print configurator, cart and checkout, though most content pages are readable without it.

This statement was prepared on 13 August 2026 based on an internal review of the site. It has not been externally verified. We will update it after our first independent audit.
