Custom-designed logos from our Washington Street studio in Glasgow. From £299 with 3 concepts, 2 rounds of refinement, and a complete file set ready for print, web and merchandise.
Logo design, properly scoped
A logo is a single mark — not a full brand system. We focus the project on one job: get you a custom, scalable, future-proof mark in a clear timeframe at a clear price. If you need the full brand stack (palette, typography, voice, templates), see our Branding service.

The Logo Design Process
A 10 working day path from brief to delivered files. Fast-track to 5 working days available on request.
Brief
A 1-hour Zoom or in-person session at our Washington Street studio. We dig into your audience, competitors, the words you want people to feel, and the practical places the mark will appear.
Concepts
5 working days. You get 2–3 genuinely different directions — not three colour variations of the same idea — each presented in context (business card, signage, favicon) so you can judge them properly.
Refinement
3 working days. You pick a direction; we sharpen the geometry, balance the weight, and test the mark across the scales and surfaces it will actually live on.
Delivery
Master file, exports for every common use, favicon, mono and reversed variants, plus a 1-page usage guide. All packaged in a labelled folder structure so a future designer can pick it up cleanly.
A logo designed by a print shop
Most logo designers think in RGB — they design for screens and hope it survives the trip to physical media. We come at it from the other direction. We run a working print shop on Washington Street, and we see what happens to a logo when it hits a 350 gsm business card, an embroidered polo, a vehicle decal, or a 3 metre roller banner. The marks we design are built to reproduce well on all of those surfaces, not just on a Retina display.
Practically: we test every logo at 5 mm (favicon and embroidery scale) and at 1.5 m (banner and vehicle livery scale) before delivery. If detail collapses at small sizes, or the geometry feels weak when blown up large, we fix it before you ever see the final files. And because the studio is local, you can come in, sit with a printed proof, and sign off in person — which is still the fastest way to make confident design decisions.
Logo Design FAQs
Straight answers to the questions Glasgow clients ask us before booking.
How much does a logo cost in Glasgow?
Our logo design packages start at £299 for a Starter Logo (2 concepts, 1 revision round, core file set), £499 for the Standard Logo (3 concepts, 2 revisions, mono + reversed variants), and £899 for the Logo + Brand Mini-Pack (logo plus colour palette, font pairings and a 1-page brand sheet). Glasgow market rates for a properly scoped custom logo typically sit between £250 and £1,500 — we sit in the middle of that range and include the master source files as standard, not as an upsell.
How long does logo design take?
Our standard turnaround is 10 working days from the kick-off brief: 5 days to develop concepts, 3 days to refine your chosen direction, and 2 days for final file production and delivery. We can fast-track to 5 working days if you need it before a launch, trade show or print deadline — there is a small rush fee, but no quality compromise.
Do I own the logo after?
Yes. Full intellectual property rights transfer to you on final invoice payment — the logo, the source files, every variant. We keep the right to show the finished work in our portfolio and case studies (unless you specifically ask us not to), but you own the mark itself outright and can use it however and wherever you like, forever.
What files do I get?
You get the master file (Adobe Illustrator source on request), transparent exports at four common sizes, a favicon set, monochrome and reversed variants, and a 1-page PDF usage guide. If you need a specific format down the line — for a printer, a sign-writer, an embroiderer or an app icon — just email us within 12 months and we will re-export at no extra charge.
Can you redesign or refresh an existing logo?
Yes. A refresh is often a better value choice than a full rebuild if your existing mark has equity but feels dated or reproduces badly. We start with a quick audit of your current logo — what is working, what is failing on small scales or in mono — and scope the work against that. Light refresh (geometry clean-up, modernised type) usually fits the Starter tier; a more substantial evolution sits at Standard.
Will the logo work on my business cards?
Yes — we test every logo at print scale before we ship it. Specifically we proof every mark at roughly 5 mm (favicon and embroidery scale) and at 1.5 m (pull-up banner and vehicle livery scale). If detail collapses at small sizes or the geometry feels weak when blown up large, we fix it before delivery. Because we also run a print shop, we know exactly what does and does not survive on a 350 gsm business card.
Where are you based and can we meet in person?
Our studio is on Washington Street in Glasgow city centre (G3 8AZ), a short walk from Anderston station. We are happy to host the brief and the final sign-off in person — it is often the fastest way to make decisions — or run the whole thing over Zoom and email if that suits you better.
Ready to brief your logo?
Tell us about your business, your audience, and where the logo needs to live. We will come back within one working day with a recommended tier and a fixed quote.
