What we turn around same day
Exhibition rush printing in Glasgow means the things that go wrong on the day: a poster left on the train, a speaker with no cards, a stand sheet with last year's prices. These four are printed in-house and can be with you the same afternoon.
A0, A1 and A2 posters
Conference and exhibition posters printed in-house on our wide-format printer. Add £10 per poster for a same-day rush and it leaves the studio the same afternoon.

What needs 2 to 3 working days
Banners are finished with cassettes, hems and eyelets, so they cannot be rushed the way a poster can. Order these before you set off for Glasgow.

How delivery to the SEC campus works
Getting a parcel to Glasgow is easy. Getting it into the right hall, to the right stand, while the exhibitor is on the floor, is the bit we have worked out.

We print it
Posters up to A0 run on our in-house wide-format printer. Rush jobs jump the queue for £10 per poster.
Bike courier, £15
A courier takes it to the SEC campus or anywhere in the city centre. Your name and stand number go on the parcel.
Meet at the door
Meet the rider at the loading bay or the hall entrance. We text the number of the rider so you can find each other.
The numbers
Forgot your poster? This is how it goes
A recent one. Two researchers arrived at the SEC for a conference and realised the A0 posters were still in an office two hundred miles away. They phoned us at lunchtime with the PDFs on a laptop. We checked both files, printed two A0 posters on rush and put them on a bike. The rider met them at the hall entrance the same afternoon. Two posters, two rush charges and the courier came to £125 all in, and they made the poster session.
That is the whole service. Send the file, tell us where you are standing, answer the phone when the rider calls. OVO Hydro event printing works the same way, whether it is a lanyard insert for a crew room or a run of flyers for the concourse.

What exhibitors and speakers ask us on the phone from the campus.
How late can I order same-day poster printing delivered to the SEC?
Phone us on 0141 345 5841 first thing and we will tell you straight. A single A0 or A1 poster ordered in the morning is normally printed and on a bike to the SEC campus the same afternoon. The later in the day it gets, the fewer posters we can promise, so if it is after lunch, call before you send the file. Same-day rush is £10 per poster on top of the standard price.
Can you print from a file on my phone?
Yes. A PDF, a PowerPoint file or a high-resolution image sent from your phone by email or WhatsApp is fine. What we cannot print well is a screenshot, because the resolution is far too low for a poster. If all you have is a screenshot, send it anyway and we will tell you what it will look like at size before you pay.
Do you deliver to the OVO Hydro and the Armadillo?
Yes. The bike courier covers the whole Scottish Event Campus, including the SEC Centre halls, the OVO Hydro and the SEC Armadillo, plus the hotels next to the campus and anywhere else in the city centre, for a flat £15. Put your name, event and stand number on the order and meet the rider at the loading bay or hall entrance.
What file should I send for a rush poster?
A PDF exported at the finished size is best. A0 is 841mm by 1189mm and A1 is 594mm by 841mm. If the file is PowerPoint, set the slide size to the poster size before exporting, or send the original and we will convert it. Images should be at least 150dpi at print size. We check every rush file before it prints and flag anything that will look poor.
How much is printing near the SEC?
A0 posters are £50, A1 £40 and A2 £30, with £5 off each poster when you order two or more. Same-day rush is £10 per poster and the bike courier is £15. Flyers start from £25 and 200 double-sided business cards are £19.99. Delivery on orders over £50 is free on a standard turnaround, the £15 courier is for the rush runs.
Can I collect instead of paying for the courier?
Of course. The studio is at Unit 204b, 36-38 Washington Street, Glasgow G3 8AZ, about eight minutes on foot from Central Station and a short taxi ride from the campus. We recommend an appointment because the team is sometimes out on deliveries. Hours are Monday to Friday 9 to 6 and Saturday 10 to 6 by pre-booked appointment.
