Delivered to your hotel, the SEC or your stand
Exhibitors and delegates ask us the same thing every conference week: can the poster be waiting at the hotel, or at the stand. It can. We leave it with hotel reception with your name on it, or put your hall and stand number on the parcel and text you the rider's number so you can meet at the loading bay or hall entrance.
Send the PDF
Email or upload the PDF. Tell us the size, when you need it and where it is going: the hotel name, or the venue with your hall and stand number, plus a mobile number for the rider.
We print and proof
We check the file, print it in-house on our wide-format printer and proof it before it leaves. For same day, phone 0141 345 5841 to book and we confirm the time and the price on the call.
Delivery or collect
Conference posters go to your hotel reception, the SEC or your conference booth free, rolled in a free tube. Exhibitor orders for your stand are delivered free over £50, otherwise by same-day courier for £5. Or collect from our Washington Street studio, 8am to 8pm, seven days a week.
What we can turn around quickly
Exhibition rush printing in Glasgow means the things that go wrong on the day: a poster left on the train, a stand sheet with last year's prices, a board that arrived cracked. Posters, flyers and boards are printed in-house. Phone 0141 345 5841 and we confirm the time and the price on the call.
A0, A1 and A2 posters
Conference and exhibition posters printed in-house on our wide-format printer. Phone 0141 345 5841 for a same-day or next-day run and we confirm the time and the price on the call.
Flyers and handouts
Session handouts, stand flyers and product sheets, from £25. Tell us the head count and we will print enough for the hall.
Foam board reprints
Foam board panels, table cards and stand graphics that went missing or arrived damaged. Send the file, phone us, and we tell you what we can do today.
Need the poster proofed before it prints? Our academic poster page explains the free file fix and the SEC Conference Poster Kit.
What needs 2 to 3 working days
Banners are finished with cassettes, hems and eyelets, and boards are mounted and trimmed, so they cannot be rushed the way a poster can. Order these before you set off for Glasgow.
For stand graphics, pop-ups, mesh and tension fabric displays, see our exhibition printing page.

The numbers
Delivered free to the SEC
Conference posters go to the SEC, your hotel reception or conference booth free, and the Scottish Event Campus is one of the shortest runs we do. Put the event, your hall and your stand number on the order, or the name of the hotel and the booking, and give us a mobile number the rider can call. Posters travel rolled in a free tube, boards travel flat and wrapped. If anything is wrong on our side, we reprint it free, straight away.
If you would rather collect, the studio is at Unit 204b, 36-38 Washington Street, G3 8AZ, a short walk from the campus and about eight minutes from Central Station. Collection is 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, Saturday and Sunday included.
Forgot your poster? This is how it goes
A recent one. Two researchers arrived at the SEC for a conference and realised the A0 posters were still in an office two hundred miles away. They phoned us at lunchtime with the PDFs on a laptop. We checked both files, agreed the rush and the price on that call, printed two A0 posters and put them on a bike. The rider met them at the hall entrance the same afternoon. They paid the price we agreed on the phone, and they made the poster session.
That is the whole service. Send the file, tell us where you are standing, answer the phone when the rider calls. OVO Hydro event printing works the same way, whether it is a lanyard insert for a crew room or a run of flyers for the concourse.
If you have more notice than that, our academic poster printing service checks the file properly and prints at the standard price, and our events and conference print page covers programmes, delegate packs and the rest.
Event and exhibition printing
Everything an exhibitor, speaker or organiser in Glasgow tends to need, printed at our Washington Street studio a short walk from the SEC.
Printing near the SEC, common questions
What exhibitors and speakers ask us on the phone from the campus.
Can you deliver posters to the SEC on the day?
Yes. Phone us on 0141 345 5841 first thing with the file to hand and we will tell you straight what we can print today and what it will cost. Posters are printed in-house on Washington Street, and we deliver conference posters to the SEC free. The later in the day it gets, the fewer posters we can promise, so call before you send the file.
What size is a conference poster?
A0 portrait, 841mm by 1189mm, is the usual conference poster size in the UK, and A1, 594mm by 841mm, is the common alternative when the boards are smaller. Check the organiser’s instructions: some sessions use landscape boards or a fixed width. Set your page to the finished size before you design and export a PDF. A0 is £50 and A1 is £40, printed in-house.
Do you print for exhibitors at SEC trade shows?
Yes, that is most of our exhibition work. Roller banners are £69 with a basic stand or £155 with a premium stand, foam boards run from A2 at £40 to A0 at £105, and a 2m x 1m PVC banner is £63, all inc VAT. Banners and boards take 2 to 3 working days, so order them before you travel and we will deliver them to your stand, free over £50 or by same-day courier for £5 below that, or hold them for collection.
Can you print from a file on my phone?
Yes. A PDF, a PowerPoint file or a high-resolution image sent from your phone by email or WhatsApp is fine. What we cannot print well is a screenshot, because the resolution is far too low for a poster. If all you have is a screenshot, send it anyway and we will tell you what it will look like at size before you pay.
Do you deliver to the OVO Hydro and the Armadillo?
Yes. We deliver across the whole Scottish Event Campus, including the SEC Centre halls, the OVO Hydro and the SEC Armadillo, plus the hotels next to the campus. Conference posters go free. Exhibitor orders are delivered free over £50, otherwise by same-day courier for £5. Put your name, event and stand number on the order and meet the rider at the loading bay or hall entrance.
What file should I send for a rush poster?
A PDF exported at the finished size is best. A0 is 841mm by 1189mm and A1 is 594mm by 841mm. If the file is PowerPoint, set the slide size to the poster size before exporting, or send the original and we will convert it. Images should be at least 150dpi at print size. We check every rush file before it prints and flag anything that will look poor.
How much is printing near the SEC?
A0 posters are £50, A1 £40 and A2 £30, with £5 off each poster when you order two or more, and conference posters are delivered free to the SEC, your hotel reception or conference booth. Flyers start from £25 and 250 double-sided business cards are £30. Exhibitor orders are delivered free over £50, otherwise same-day courier £5 in the city centre. Same-day and next-day printing is priced on the phone, so call 0141 345 5841 with your deadline and we will confirm what we can do.
Can I collect from the studio instead?
Of course. The studio is at Unit 204b, 36-38 Washington Street, Glasgow G3 8AZ, about eight minutes on foot from Central Station and minutes from the SEC. The front desk is open for collections 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, Saturday and Sunday included, and you are welcome to look the poster over before you take it.
Can you deliver my poster to my hotel or the venue?
Yes, and for conference posters it is free. We deliver to your hotel reception, the SEC or your conference booth. Tell us the hotel and the name on the booking and we leave the poster with reception, so it is waiting when you check in. Collection from our Washington Street studio is also fine.
I am flying in for a conference at the SEC. Can I order before I arrive?
Yes, and most delegates do. Email the PDF with the size and the date you need it. We send a card payment link, print the poster and either hold it for collection or deliver it free to your hotel reception or the SEC on the day you arrive. Nothing to carry through the airport.
At the SEC and short of something? Phone 0141 345 5841 with the file to hand and we will tell you what is possible today. Get in touch.
Need a website or booking system too?
The same Washington Street studio that prints your stand builds websites and web apps, with a fixed written quote and the code in your name. One team, one invoice, the brand matched between the banner and the browser.
Have a project?
We'd love to hear about it. Whether it's a canvas print, a rebrand, or a full-stack build, let's talk.
