Delivered to your hotel, the SEC or your stand
Exhibitors and delegates ask us the same thing every conference week: can the poster be waiting at the hotel, or at the stand. It can. We leave it with hotel reception with your name on it, or put your hall and stand number on the parcel and text you the rider's number so you can meet at the loading bay or hall entrance.

We print and proof
We check the file, print it in-house on our wide-format printer and proof it before it leaves. Files in by 11am, Monday to Friday, can go the same day.
Courier or collect
A bike courier drops it at your hotel reception, the SEC, the OVO Hydro, the Armadillo or your stand. Same-day bike courier anywhere in Glasgow is £15. Or collect from our Washington Street studio.
What we turn around same day

Signage reprints
Foam-board panels, table cards, wayfinding and stand graphics that went missing or arrived damaged. Send the file and we reprint it.

What needs 2 to 3 working days
Banners are finished with cassettes, hems and eyelets, so they cannot be rushed the way a poster can. Order these before you set off for Glasgow.

The numbers
Forgot your poster? This is how it goes
A recent one. Two researchers arrived at the SEC for a conference and realised the A0 posters were still in an office two hundred miles away. They phoned us at lunchtime with the PDFs on a laptop. We checked both files, agreed the rush and the price on that call, printed two A0 posters and put them on a bike. The rider met them at the hall entrance the same afternoon. They paid the price we agreed on the phone, and they made the poster session.
That is the whole service. Send the file, tell us where you are standing, answer the phone when the rider calls. OVO Hydro event printing works the same way, whether it is a lanyard insert for a crew room or a run of flyers for the concourse.

What exhibitors and speakers ask us on the phone from the campus.
How late can I order same-day poster printing delivered to the SEC?
Phone us on 0141 345 5841 first thing and we will tell you straight. A single A0 or A1 poster ordered before 10am can usually be printed and on a bike to the SEC campus the same afternoon. The later in the day it gets, the fewer posters we can promise, so if it is after lunch, call before you send the file. We take the details on the phone and confirm the timeline and the price there and then.
Can you print from a file on my phone?
Yes. A PDF, a PowerPoint file or a high-resolution image sent from your phone by email or WhatsApp is fine. What we cannot print well is a screenshot, because the resolution is far too low for a poster. If all you have is a screenshot, send it anyway and we will tell you what it will look like at size before you pay.
Do you deliver to the OVO Hydro and the Armadillo?
Yes. The bike courier covers the whole Scottish Event Campus, including the SEC Centre halls, the OVO Hydro and the SEC Armadillo, plus the hotels next to the campus and anywhere else in Glasgow, for a flat £15. Put your name, event and stand number on the order and meet the rider at the loading bay or hall entrance.
What file should I send for a rush poster?
A PDF exported at the finished size is best. A0 is 841mm by 1189mm and A1 is 594mm by 841mm. If the file is PowerPoint, set the slide size to the poster size before exporting, or send the original and we will convert it. Images should be at least 150dpi at print size. We check every rush file before it prints and flag anything that will look poor.
How much is printing near the SEC?
A0 posters are £50, A1 £40 and A2 £30, with £5 off each poster when you order two or more. The bike courier is £15. Flyers start from £25 and 250 double-sided business cards are £30. Delivery on orders over £50 is free on a standard turnaround, the £15 courier is for the rush runs. Same-day and next-day printing is priced on the phone, so call 0141 345 5841 with your deadline and we will confirm what we can do.
Can I collect instead of paying for the courier?
Of course. The studio is at Unit 204b, 36-38 Washington Street, Glasgow G3 8AZ, about eight minutes on foot from Central Station and a short taxi ride from the campus. Collection is any day by arrangement, just tell us when and where, because the team is sometimes out on deliveries. Hours are Monday to Friday 9 to 6 and Saturday 10 to 6.
Can you deliver my poster to my hotel or the venue?
Yes. The bike courier goes to hotel reception, the SEC Centre, the OVO Hydro and the Armadillo. Same-day bike courier anywhere in Glasgow is £15. Tell us the hotel and the name on the booking and we leave the poster with reception, so it is waiting when you check in. Collection from our Washington Street studio is also fine.
I am flying in for a conference at the SEC. Can I order before I arrive?
Yes, and most delegates do. Email the PDF with the size and the date you need it. We send a card payment link, print the poster and either hold it for collection or courier it to your hotel reception or the SEC on the day you arrive. Nothing to carry through the airport.
