Sizes and materials

A2 signs (420 x 594mm)
The usual welcome sign size. Reads clearly from the doorway.
A1 signs (594 x 841mm)
For seating plans with a lot of tables, or a welcome sign in a big entrance hall.
A5 menus (148 x 210mm)
One per place setting. Fits beside the plate without crowding it.
DL menus (99 x 210mm)
A tall, narrow menu that sits in a napkin fold or a place card holder.

Why print your signs locally
A welcome sign is the first thing guests see and the last thing anyone remembers to order. Most of the signs we print are for a wedding or a party that weekend. Can you print a seating plan on foam board?
Yes. Seating plans go on 5mm foam board at A2 or A1, big enough to read table names from a few feet back. Send the final list as a PDF, or a spreadsheet and we lay it out to match your invitation. Names change late, so send it as close to the day as you can.
How late can I send my files?
For a single foam board sign, 11am Monday to Friday for same-day collection. Anything later, or a full set with menus, table numbers and a seating plan, takes 2 to 3 working days, so send those the week before. If you are cutting it fine, call 0141 345 5841 before you send the file and we will tell you honestly.
Can you match my invitation design?
Yes. Send us the invitation as a PDF or a photo and our design team carries the fonts, colours and any motif across the welcome sign, seating plan, menus and table numbers, so the set looks like one job. If the original designer can send the working files, better still. Design time is quoted with the print.
Do you print menus and table numbers too?
Yes. Menus are printed on 350gsm silk card at A5 or DL, one per place or one per table. Table numbers and order of service go on the same card so everything matches. Tell us how many tables and guests and we quote the whole set within the hour.
Can I collect on the morning of the event?
Yes, any day by arrangement, just tell us when and where. We open at 9am Monday to Friday and 10am on Saturday, at Unit 204b, 36-38 Washington Street, Glasgow G3 8AZ. Call 0141 345 5841 the day before so the sign is wrapped and waiting. If you would rather not make the trip, we courier to Glasgow postcodes G1 to G77.
