Christmas 2026 last order dates
Two dates matter. Friday 11 December for anything our trade partner finishes, Friday 18 December for anything we print ourselves and post. Collection runs a little later. The full reasoning, plus Royal Mail's own posting dates, is in the Christmas print deadlines post.

Who we print for at Christmas
The same customers every year, in roughly this order from mid-November.
Restaurants, bars and cafes
Festive set menus, drinks lists, table talkers, gift vouchers and party-night posters, reprinted in January with the new prices.
Offices and professional firms
Corporate Christmas cards with the firm logo, 2027 wall calendars and desk tents for clients, and a January planner for the office wall.
Retailers and market traders
Christmas opening hours decals, window graphics, gift tags, product labels, price posters and January sale flyers.
Salons, barbers and gyms
Numbered gift vouchers for the run-up to Christmas, festive price lists and a New Year offer poster for the window.
Gift buyers
A photo or a gallery artwork printed on satin or cotton rag, framed in black or oak, ready to collect the same week.
Event organisers
Christmas fair posters, flyers, roller banners and a festive backdrop for the stage or the grotto.
What we print here and what we send out
Printed in-house, Glasgow G3
Menus, Christmas cards, gift vouchers, flyers, gift tags and A3 posters run on our Xerox digital press. A2, A1 and A0 posters, year planners, photo prints and fine-art prints run on the 44 inch Epson. This is the work we can turn in two to three working days, reprint at short notice and, if you phone, sometimes do the same day. It is also the work that stays open until 18 December for post and 23 December for collection.
Outsourced to our trade partner
Foil and spot UV cards, wiro and desk calendars, window vinyl, canvas, cut stickers, roller banners, foamex and PVC banners are finishes we do not run in the studio, so we send them to our trade partner. That adds 4 to 5 working days minimum and means a hard last order date of Friday 11 December at 12 noon. We proof and check the artwork here before it goes, and the finished job comes back to Glasgow for collection or delivery.
Black Friday and the January hook
Black Friday, 27 to 30 November

That is the only seasonal discount. The Christmas print prices on this page are already keen, so there are no codes on top of them.
Book January before 19 December
Order menus, cards or vouchers in November or December and we supply your design file free when you book January work before 19 December: a January menu reprint, sale signage, a booking site or website refresh. How a Christmas order runs
Order early and the run is calm. Order in the last week and it is still possible on in-house work, but phone first.

Proof and sign-off
Print-ready PDF or our design. You approve a proof before anything goes on the press.
Print and finish
In-house work in 2 to 3 working days. Outsourced finishes 4 to 5 working days minimum.

What are your last order dates for Christmas printing?
Outsourced products (foil cards, calendars, canvas, window vinyl, stickers and banners) must be ordered by Friday 11 December at 12 noon. In-house work (menus, cards, vouchers, prints, posters and flyers) can be ordered for post until Friday 18 December at 1pm, and posted with Royal Mail Tracked 24 on Monday 21 December. Collection orders run to Wednesday 23 December at 12 noon, subject to press time, so phone first.
Can you do same-day printing in December?
Sometimes, on in-house work only: menus, cards, vouchers, flyers and posters. Anything outsourced is 4 to 5 working days minimum whatever the month. Phone 0141 345 5841 for same-day or next-day and we confirm the timeline and the price on the call.
Can I collect my order?
Yes. Collect from Unit 204b, 36-38 Washington Street, Glasgow G3 8AZ or from 104 Cadzow Street, Hamilton ML3 6HP. Washington Street is walk-in; Cadzow Street in Hamilton is by appointment, so call 0141 345 5841 to agree a time. Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 6pm. The last collection slot before Christmas is Wednesday 23 December at 12 noon.
Do you deliver to Lanarkshire?
Yes. Delivery is free across Central Scotland on orders over £50, which covers Hamilton, Motherwell, East Kilbride, Lanark and the rest of Lanarkshire. Inside Glasgow we also run a same-day bike courier for £15. Or collect from the Hamilton studio on Cadzow Street by arrangement.
Can you design it for us?
Yes. Menu design is £49 for a single page or £99 for a folded or multi-page menu, card design is £49 and free on 100 or more cards, voucher design is £39 and free on 100 or more, and calendar design from your photos or logo is £99. Every design includes two rounds of changes and you approve a proof before we print.
Can you print with our logo?
Yes, on everything: cards, menus, calendars, vouchers, gift tags and window decals. Send a vector logo (PDF, AI, EPS or SVG) if you have one, or a high-resolution PNG if you do not, and tell us your brand colours. We set it up, send a proof and print once you sign it off.
What if I miss the cut-off?
If you miss 11 December for an outsourced product we can often swap to an in-house version: a printed card instead of a foil one, an A3 or A1 planner instead of a wiro calendar. If you miss 18 December, collection is still open until 23 December at 12 noon. After that we reopen on Tuesday 5 January, and anything you book in December goes on the press first.
Are you open between Christmas and New Year?
No. Both studios are closed from Thursday 24 December to Monday 4 January inclusive. Emails to support@glasgowgfx.com are answered from Tuesday 29 December, and we reopen at 9am on Tuesday 5 January 2027.
