What size banner should I choose for a trade show?
For most shell-scheme stands an 850 × 2000mm roller banner is the standard. It is readable, it fits beside a 1m bay and it is easy to carry into the SEC. For space-only stands or backdrops, go to a 1200mm roller or a 3×3 or 3×4 pop-up fabric wall. Outdoors or on a gantry, use a mesh banner so wind passes through. Send us your stand dimensions and we will recommend the exact size.
Which banner sizes are most commonly used for trade shows?
The three workhorses are roller or pull-up banners at 850 × 2000mm (most common) and 1200 × 2000mm for wider stands, pop-up displays at 3×3 (about 2.25m wide) and 3×4 (about 3m wide), and PVC banners cut to your stand width with hemmed edges and eyelets. We print all of these in-house in Glasgow.
Can you deliver exhibition banners to the SEC?
Yes. We deliver direct to the Scottish Event Campus, including the SEC Centre, the Armadillo and the OVO Hydro, labelled with your hall and stand number and timed to your build-up slot. We are about 10 minutes from the campus, so build-up-day reprints reach your stand fast. You can also collect from our G3 studio if you are driving in.
Do you offer same-day exhibition printing in Glasgow?
Yes. Artwork approved before 11am on a working day is printed and either ready for collection by 3pm or delivered to the SEC or your Glasgow venue by 5pm. Roller banners, PVC, foam boards and posters all turn around same-day. Large fabric or multi-panel stand systems usually need 24 to 48 hours.
What is the difference between PVC and PVC-free banners?
Standard PVC banners are heavy-duty, weatherproof and the cheapest per square metre, which makes them ideal outdoors and for repeated use. PVC-free banners use a recyclable polyester material that is lighter and lower-impact, often preferred indoors and by organisers with sustainability requirements. We stock both, so tell us where the banner is going and we will spec it.
What artwork do you need for an exhibition stand?
A print-ready PDF, EPS or high-resolution file at the finished size with 3 to 5mm bleed, ideally in CMYK. If you do not have a print-ready file, our designers can build stand graphics, roller banners and pop-ups from your logo and brand assets.
