Why buy your banner locally
A banner is the one print product where the cheap online option most often fails, because it fails in public. We have replaced plenty of banners from upload sites that tore off fencing in a January gale or faded to grey inside two months. Buying locally means you can hold a proof, talk to the person printing it and get a spec matched to where the banner is actually going.
If the job is bigger than one banner, we handle exhibition printing for the SEC, mesh banners for exposed sites and poster printing up to A0, all from the same G3 studio.
PVC banners, common questions
The questions Glasgow customers ask us most before ordering a banner.
How much does a PVC banner cost in Glasgow?
A 2m x 1m PVC banner with hemmed edges and brass eyelets starts at £63, a 3m x 1m at £95, and custom sizes work out around £2.95 per square foot with volume discounts over 6 square metres. Minimum order £50, prices exclude VAT, and we give fixed quotes within the working day with no setup or artwork fees on simple jobs.
How long do PVC banners last outdoors?
Our 440gsm PVC is commercial grade and rated for 3 or more years outdoors, printed with UV-stable inks so it will not fade to grey after a couple of months. Cheaper lightweight vinyl from online suppliers often tears at the eyelets or fades within a season, which is usually why people come to us for the replacement.
What sizes can you print?
Any size. Single-seam banners print up to 1.6m wide, and longer runs are joined with welded seams, so 10m-plus sponsor and hoarding banners are no problem. Give us the millimetre dimensions of the space and we will quote it, or tell us where it is going and we will recommend a size.
How do I fix a PVC banner to a fence or wall?
Every banner ships with brass eyelets at your preferred spacing as standard, ready for cable ties, bungee cord or rope. We also offer pole pockets, Velcro strips and self-adhesive backing. For exposed or windy locations ask us about mesh instead, and if you need it hung we install across Greater Glasgow.
Should I choose PVC or mesh?
Solid PVC gives the strongest colour and is right for walls, shop fronts and sheltered spots. On fence lines, scaffolding, gantries and anywhere exposed to wind, 330gsm mesh is the safer spec because wind passes through the perforations instead of straining the fixings. If in doubt, send a photo of the location and we will spec it for you.
What is a PVC-free banner?
A recyclable polyester banner material that prints just as sharply but avoids PVC plastic. It is lighter, lower-impact and increasingly requested by event organisers and venues with sustainability requirements. We stock it alongside standard PVC, so just ask for the PVC-free option when you quote.
How fast can you print a banner in Glasgow?
Standard turnaround is 2 to 3 working days from artwork sign-off, which covers printing, hemming and eyeletting done properly. Express 1 to 2 day production is often possible, and genuinely urgent jobs are sometimes same-day, so call before you order and we will tell you straight whether we can hit your deadline.
Can you design the banner for me?
Yes. Our in-house designers turn a rough brief into a print-ready banner, with most simple layouts costing £30 to £60 to design from scratch. You approve a proof before anything is printed.
Send your size, artwork or even a photo of where the banner is going and get a fixed quote within the working day. Get in touch.
Have a project?
We'd love to hear about it. Whether it's a canvas print, a rebrand, or a full-stack build, let's talk.
