04 — The Integrated Angle

Why Glasgow GFX for Web Design

Most Glasgow web design agencies stop at the screen. We don't. The same studio that builds your website is the one printing your business cards, brochures and pull-up banners downstairs — so brand consistency between your digital and physical touchpoints is automatic, not an afterthought.

That integrated approach is why clients like Aligne Studio, Medico and Flora & Fable hire us to handle the whole picture — website, brand identity, printed collateral, and the ongoing changes that come with running a real business.

One team, one project manager, one invoice. When the launch deadline is tight, you don't want three suppliers blaming each other.

How We Build It

A four-stage process designed for non-technical clients. You see progress weekly and never get a 50-page Word document of jargon.

  1. 01

    Discovery

A 2-hour workshop in our Washington Street studio (or over Google Meet). We map your customers, goals and the pages you actually need. Free for projects over £3,000.

  2. 02

    Design

Wireframes first so we agree the structure, then two rounds of visual design in Figma. You see every page before a single line of code is written.

  3. 03

    Build

We build on a live staging URL from day one, so you can watch the site come together and flag changes early. Weekly progress calls keep everyone aligned.

  4. 04

    Launch & Care

We submit the new site to Google Search Console, set up analytics goals, and stay on call for 30 days of post-launch shakedown. After that, optional care plans take over.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions Glasgow business owners ask before signing off a website project.

How much does a website cost in Glasgow?+

Our brochure sites start at £1,499, business sites with a CMS start at £3,499, and bespoke builds with custom functionality start at £8,000. Every quote is fixed-price after the discovery call — no day-rate surprises and no scope creep.

How long does a website take to build?+

A brochure site is typically ready in 3 weeks, a business site in 6 weeks, and a custom build is scoped during discovery. The biggest delay on most projects is waiting for client content, so we send a content checklist on day one.

Will my site work on phones?+

Yes — every site we build is mobile-first. We design the small-screen layout before the desktop one, because most Glasgow searches now happen on a phone. We test on real iPhone, Android and tablet devices before launch.

Do you do SEO?+

Basic on-page SEO is included with every build: clean URLs, meta titles and descriptions, Open Graph tags, JSON-LD schema, an XML sitemap and Google Search Console submission. Deeper ongoing SEO — link-building, content writing, technical audits — is a separate monthly retainer starting at £450 per month.

Can I update the site myself?+

Yes. From the Business tier upwards we set you up with a friendly CMS (Sanity or Payload) so your team can edit copy, swap images and publish blog posts without touching code. We include a 30-minute training call before launch.

What if I just need a small change later?+

You have two options. Ad-hoc changes are billed at £45 per hour with a 30-minute minimum. Or pick up our Care Plan at £190 per month — it includes 4 hours of changes, hosting, backups, security patches and uptime monitoring, with hours rolling over for two months.
