Southside Plumbing
Southside Plumbing is a plumber on Glasgow's Southside, founded by Adam Watson, and bathrooms are the heart of the business. The old site presented it as a general plumber with no brand of its own, just as paid ads for bathrooms were about to start. We rebuilt southsideplumbing.co.uk around bathrooms, with a new brand, a guided bathroom planner, landing pages for the ads and each new lead sent straight to Adam's phone.

Bathroom renovations are where Southside Plumbing does its best work, but the old site presented it as a general plumber, and the business had no logo or brand of its own. Paid ads for bathrooms were about to start, and they needed pages built to turn a click into a call. The rebuild also had to stay on the same domain without breaking the links the old site had built up.
We rebuilt the site on the existing domain around bathrooms. A new brand, Cobalt Block, gives the business a logo mark and a bold cobalt and tile-pink look it never had. The centrepiece is a guided bathroom planner: six quick steps covering the job, the size of the room, the finish, extras and timing, then where Adam should call, with the option to add photos of the room. It is built to show a price range before it asks for any contact details; that step switches on once Adam's own prices are confirmed, and until then he gives the range on a quick call. Each new lead is pushed to Adam's phone the moment it is sent. Around the planner sit pages for each kind of bathroom, a cost guide that explains what moves the price, pages for eight Southside areas, landing pages for paid ads that are kept out of search results, and permanent redirects from the old site's URLs.
Brand & Homepage
There was no logo to work from, so we made one. Cobalt Block is bold and confident on purpose: a cobalt and tile-pink palette, a tiled grid that nods to the work itself, and heavy type. The homepage says what the business does best in one line, The Southside's bathroom people, and gets a visitor into the planner or on the phone to Adam straight away.
- →A new logo mark, palette and type, where no brand existed before
- →A homepage built around bathrooms, with the planner and the phone number one tap away
- →Opening hours, the written labour guarantee and accreditations shown up front
- →Every page pre-built ahead of time, so there is nothing to wait for on a phone

The Bathroom Planner
Six quick steps: what the job is, how big the room is, the finish, any extras, the timing, and where Adam should call. Customers can add photos of the room, and anyone with a leak right now skips straight to help. The planner is built to show a price range before it asks for contact details; that step switches on once Adam's own prices are confirmed, so the site never shows a guessed figure.
- →Six steps that take about a minute, one tap per answer
- →Photo uploads, so Adam can see the room before he calls
- →A fast route for leaks that skips the planner
- →Each lead pushed to Adam's phone the moment it is sent
- →A price range step held back until the owner approves his own prices

Ad Landing Pages
Paid ads land on pages made for one job: a short headline, the reasons to call, the planner right there on the page and the phone number always in reach. There are landing pages for bathrooms, wet rooms and en-suites, and they are kept out of search results so they never compete with the main site.
- →Landing pages for bathrooms, wet rooms and en-suites
- →The planner on the page, with no menu to wander off through
- →Kept out of search results and out of the sitemap

Bathroom, Area & Cost Pages
Behind the planner sit the pages people search for: each kind of bathroom, a page for each of eight Southside areas from Shawlands to Newton Mearns, and a cost guide that explains honestly what moves the price. The old site's URLs all redirect permanently to their new homes, so the links it had built up still work.
- →Pages for wet rooms, en-suites, small, tenement and accessible bathrooms
- →Eight Southside area pages: Shawlands, Giffnock, Newton Mearns, Clarkston, Cathcart, Pollokshields, Newlands and Busby
- →A cost guide that explains what moves the price, without quoting a guess
- →Permanent redirects from every old URL, on the same domain
