Each voucher is printed with its own sequential number, for example 0001 to 0100, in a position you choose on the front or back. Tell us the number you want to start from if you already have vouchers in circulation. The numbering is printed as part of the artwork, not stuck on afterwards, so it cannot be peeled off or swapped.

Yes, the back of the voucher is yours. Most customers use it for the expiry date, a line saying the voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, whether it can be used against sale items, a space for the value and the date of issue, and a signature or stamp box. Send us your wording or ask us for a starting point and edit it.

The sequential number is the main control: you record which numbers you have sold and to whom, and check the number off when it is redeemed. Adding a signature or stamp box and keeping the blank stock locked away covers most small businesses. We do not add holograms or security foils, so if you need that level, tell us and we will say honestly whether it is worth the cost for your volume.

Print a clear expiry date or period, for example "Valid for 12 months from the date of issue", and state it on the front as well as in the terms. A generous, clearly stated period causes far fewer arguments at the till than a short one in small print. We are printers rather than solicitors, so if your vouchers are high value, have your own adviser check the terms.

Yes. Plain white DL envelopes are £10 for 50, £15 for 100 and £30 for 250, and we pack them with the vouchers. If you want printed or coloured envelopes, ask and we will quote it, though that usually pushes the job past the 18 December posting date.

Yes. Send your logo, the values you sell, your terms and any brand colours, and we lay out both sides, with two rounds of changes and a PDF proof before anything prints. Design is £39 flat and free on orders of 100 or more. If you already have artwork, send a print-ready PDF at 99mm x 210mm with 3mm bleed and we will check it.

Vouchers are printed in-house on our digital press, so standard turnaround is 3 working days from proof approval. Phone 0141 345 5841 for same-day or next-day and we confirm the timeline and the price on the call.

Order by Friday 18 December at 1pm to have vouchers posted with Royal Mail Tracked 24 on Monday 21 December. Collection orders can be placed up to Wednesday 23 December at 12 noon, subject to press time, so phone first. The studio is closed from Thursday 24 December and reopens Tuesday 5 January 2027 at 9am.
