Christmas menus from £45 for 25, designed and printed in Glasgow, in-house, the same week.
Posted orders need to be with us by Friday 18 December at 1pm. Collection from the studio runs to Wednesday 23 December. Between now and then we print festive set menus, party menus, drinks lists and table talkers on our own press at Washington Street, and if the menu is still a Word document our menu design service turns it into artwork in 3 working days. Christmas menus are an in-house job, so the timeline is ours to keep. Standard turnaround is 2 to 3 working days from artwork sign-off, and anything approved by Wednesday 1pm is guaranteed for that week. Christmas menus, by the numbers
What we print for the festive season
Every festive format on the same 250gsm silk and the same press, so the set menu, the drinks list and the table talker all match.
Christmas set menu
A4 flat or folded to A5 on 250gsm silk. Two or three courses, the price per head and the booking deposit terms, printed both sides.
Party and group menu
A5 or A4 folded for office parties and group bookings, with a laminated copy for the host to hand round on the night.
Festive drinks and cocktail list
DL card for mulled wine, winter cocktails, hot chocolates and the Hogmanay fizz, sized to sit in the holder you already have.
Table talkers and tent cards
350gsm, creased to stand. Christmas Day and Boxing Day hours, the January offer, or a QR code for bookings.
Laminated wipe-clean menus
Matt or gloss lamination on any format. The laminated menu is the one still readable on 23 December after a fortnight of parties.
New Year and January menus
Hogmanay dinner, New Year brunch and the January reprint, all on the same file and the same press once the festive one is done.

Same prices as the rest of the year, all inclusive of VAT. Menus are 250gsm silk, printed double-sided, flat or folded. Table talkers are 350gsm. Lamination is an add-on to any menu row.

Design and print bundle, £149
If the festive menu is still in a Word document, the bundle is the quickest route to the table. For £149 you get the £49 single-page Christmas menu design, two rounds of changes, a print-ready PDF plus a web image for your site and Instagram, and 50 laminated A4 menus, delivered in 5 working days. A folded or multi-page menu is £99 to design instead of £49, and we quote the bundle on the day.
Then the January hook: order menus, cards or vouchers in November or December and book any January work before 19 December, a January menu reprint, sale signage, a booking site or a website refresh, and we supply your design file free. Full details on the menu design page.

What restaurant, bar and hotel owners ask us about festive menus, in the order they usually ask.
When should a restaurant order its Christmas menus?
By the end of October, so the festive menu is on the tables and on your website when bookings peak in the first fortnight of November. That said, we print Christmas menus right up to the end: posted orders by Friday 18 December at 1pm, collection orders by Wednesday 23 December at 12 noon subject to press time, so phone first if it is that late.
Can you design the Christmas menu as well as print it?
Yes. Christmas menu design is £49 for a single page and £99 for a folded or multi-page menu, with two rounds of changes, a print-ready PDF and a web image for your site and socials, delivered in 3 working days. The design and print bundle is £149 and includes the £49 design plus 50 laminated A4 menus, delivered in 5 working days.
What stock should a wipe-clean festive menu be on?
250gsm silk with matt or gloss lamination. Silk gives a clean, even print for photography and gold-tone artwork, and the lamination seals it so sauce, wine and a fortnight of handling wipe straight off. Lamination adds £15 on 25 menus, £25 on 50, £40 on 100 and £80 on 250. Table talkers go on 350gsm so they stand up.
Do you print New Year and January menus?
Yes, and it is worth planning them together. Hogmanay dinner and New Year brunch menus print alongside the Christmas run, and the January menu is the reprint that gets you the January hook: order menus, cards or vouchers in November or December and book January work before 19 December, and we supply your design file free.
Can we get a reprint quickly if the menu changes?
Yes. Once the file is proofed it is a straight rerun, so a reprint is usually 2 to 3 working days and same week if it is in by Wednesday 1pm. A November reprint of the same file is 10% off. Can you print table talkers to match the Christmas menu?
Yes. Table talkers and tent cards are printed on 350gsm from the same artwork and colours as the menu, from £35 for 25. Most venues use them for Christmas Day and Boxing Day opening hours, the set menu price per head, or a QR code that goes straight to the booking page.
