Menus are an in-house job, printed on our Xerox digital press in the Glasgow studio. Standard turnaround is 2 to 3 working days from artwork sign-off, and any order placed by Wednesday 1pm is guaranteed for the same week. What we print
Every menu format that runs through the studio, all on the same press and the same 250gsm silk unless you ask for something else.
A4 flat menu
The standard single-sheet menu, printed both sides on 250gsm silk. Good for a short menu, a specials sheet or a lunch card.
A4 folded to A5
One A4 sheet creased and folded to give you four A5 panels. The most common format for a full evening menu, and the same price as flat.
A5 menu
Compact and cheap to reprint. Suits cafes, coffee counters, breakfast menus and anywhere table space is tight.
DL drinks and dessert lists
The tall slim card that sits in a menu holder or on the bar. Wine lists, cocktails, desserts, coffee and the kids menu.
Table talkers and tent cards
Printed on 350gsm and creased to stand on the table. Specials, offers, set menus and QR codes for the online ordering page.
Laminated wipe-clean menus
Matt or gloss lamination on any of the above. Sauce, spilled drinks and a hundred pairs of hands, and the menu still looks new.
Takeaway letterbox menus on 130gsm to 170gsm are priced as flyers, from £25 for 200. Everything else is on the price table below.

Festive set menus, party menus and Hogmanay drinks lists are printed on the same press at the same prices, and we run them until we close for Christmas on Wednesday 23 December. Posted orders need to be in by Friday 18 December at 1pm to go out with Royal Mail Tracked 24 on Monday 21 December. Collection orders run to Wednesday 23 December at 12 noon, subject to press time, so phone first. How long does menu printing take in Glasgow?
Standard turnaround is 2 to 3 working days from artwork sign-off, printed in-house on our own press at Washington Street. Order by Wednesday 1pm and we guarantee the menus for the same week. What lamination do you offer for menus?
Matt or gloss, both wipe-clean. Matt is easier to read under bright lights and hides fingerprints, gloss makes food photography pop. Lamination adds £15 on 25 menus, £25 on 50, £40 on 100 and £80 on 250. We laminate our own prints only, so we cannot laminate menus printed elsewhere.
What artwork do you need for a menu?
A print-ready PDF at 300 dpi with fonts outlined or embedded, set up at the finished size. For a folded A4 menu, supply it as a flat A4 with the fold in the middle and we will crease it. If you only have a Word document or a Canva file, send that and we will tell you what needs fixing before it goes on the press.
Do menus need bleed?
Yes, if any colour or image runs to the edge. Add 3mm bleed on every side and keep text at least 5mm inside the trim. A white-bordered menu with nothing touching the edge can be supplied without bleed. If you are unsure, send the file and we will check it before printing.
Is there a discount on a menu reprint?
A November reprint of the same file is 10% off, which is the month most venues refresh for the festive season. Outside November, a straight reprint is still cheaper in practice because the file is already checked and proofed, so it moves through the studio faster.
Can you design the menu as well as print it?
Yes. Menu design is £49 for a single page and £99 for a folded or multi-page menu, with two rounds of changes, a print-ready PDF and a web image for your site or Instagram. There is also a design and print bundle at £149 that includes 50 laminated A4 menus. See the menu design page for what is included.
What is the minimum order for menus?
25 copies. Menus are priced at 25, 50, 100 and 250, and anything in between or above is quoted on the day. Small runs suit venues that change the menu often, and there is no setup fee, so reordering 25 every fortnight costs no more per copy than the table shows.
Do you deliver menus, or can I collect?
Both. Delivery is free across Central Scotland on orders over £50, and a same-day bike courier anywhere in Glasgow is £15. Collection is from Washington Street in Glasgow, walk in, or from Cadzow Street in Hamilton by appointment; phone ahead and we will have the box ready.
